Win n Lose
This is a film about Sivuyile Twatwa, a young boy from Joza Township in Grahamstown. The films is about his love for boxing and how boxing is a part of his family. His older brother and his uncles are/were proffessional boxers. Their inflence in his life as led him to boxing. It is a story about hope, passion and aspirations.
HPV Vaccination 2015
Human Papillomavirus, known as HPV, is a sexually transmitted disease affecting females and males resulting in 70% cervical cancer cases in females. University students are largely unaware of this sexually transmitted disease nor its vaccination. We take a look at issue - in the light of the fact that the HPV vaccine is offered to grade 4 girls but older girls have to pay for the vaccine.
Science Alight
Scifest Africa 2015 celebrates the phenomenon of light and the International Year of Light and Light-based Technologies. We explore several of the events that explore the theme. This includes a spectrometer workshop with Alfred Hanyane the life of a photon lecture by Jim Adams of NASA and the popular laser show.
